Night sky map: the real sky above you, tonight or on the day you were born
Hold your phone up and see what is above you: the stars, the constellations, the Moon and the planets, for any place and any hour. My Cosmic Code works the sky out on your phone from real astronomy, and in My Cosmic Sky it also shows your birth planets among the stars.
Star map of the sky above you now
Choose a city to see the real sky above it at this moment: the stars, the constellation figures and names, the Moon and the planets, with the horizon and the four directions.
Every star the naked eye can see, down to magnitude 5.5, and the figures of all 88 constellations under their official Latin names.
The Sun, the Moon and the planets where they really stand: how high above the horizon, in which direction, and when they rise and set.
Deep Sky: 42 galaxies, nebulae and star clusters, among them the Andromeda Galaxy, the Orion Nebula and the Pleiades.
Search for a planet or a star, and tap anything in the sky for its details.
Above you, or anywhere
Point at the sky: hold the phone up and the map follows it. It uses the compass, not the camera.
Here: the sky above where you are. It uses approximate location only, asks for it only when you tap, and never stores or sends it.
Tonight: in daylight, one tap jumps to that place’s own next dark sky, when the Sun is far enough below the horizon for the stars to show.
Any city, any hour: move an hour or a day at a time, then come back with Now.
Every place sees its own sky: from Sydney or Buenos Aires, the southern sky.
The sky you were born under, and My Cosmic Sky
Sky at my birth: the real sky over your birth place at the moment you were born.
My Cosmic Sky: your birth planets as gold rings on the ecliptic, where they stood when you were born, with today’s planets passing them among the stars.
The aspects between today’s planets and yours, drawn as lines.
Two views, kept apart: the real sky shows what is up there; My Cosmic Sky lays your birth chart over it and says so.

Questions
Which planets are visible tonight?
Tap Here. If it is still light, tap Tonight and the map moves to your next dark sky. You see the planets above the horizon, how high they stand and in which direction; tap a planet to see when it rises and sets.
Can I see the sky on the day I was born?
Yes. Sky at my birth shows the real sky over your birth place at that moment. It needs your birth date and place; with your birth time it is that exact minute, without it the app uses noon.
Does it use the camera or my exact location?
No. Point at the sky follows the phone with its compass and motion sensors. Here asks for approximate location only when you tap it, uses it only to draw the sky, and never stores or sends it. You can also choose a city instead.
Is this astronomy or astrology?
The real sky is astronomy: the positions of the stars, the Moon and the planets. My Cosmic Sky draws your birth chart over that sky and shows positions and aspects; no meaning is read into the stars themselves.
Is it free?
The app is free to download, and in the current version every feature is open. No ads.
