Laughter is read as relief and joy, and sometimes as a cover for unease. Tradition asks who is laughing, and at what. Laughing freely with others is read as ease and belonging, a sign of tension being let go. Being laughed at is one of the more common anxious variants and is traditionally taken as fear of ridicule or of being exposed. Laughing at something that is not funny, or being unable to stop, points to a feeling that has found the wrong door out — nervousness dressed up as cheer.
Has this come up in your dreams before? What was going on in your life then?
My Cosmic Code has a private dream journal. Write a dream down and the app picks out the symbols in it, shows what dream books say about them and, over time, which words recur across your entries. The journal is stored on your device only.
