Birth is the symbol of something new arriving after long preparation. It is read as creative work, a fresh start or a new side of you coming into the world. Giving birth yourself is traditionally taken as bringing a plan or idea to life, whatever your gender or circumstances. An easy birth points to change that comes naturally, while a difficult one is read as effort and doubt around something you care about. Being present at someone else’s birth suggests you are witnessing a change in a person close to you. Dream books do not read it as a sign about an actual pregnancy.
