Pig in a dream: meaning

What dream books say

In folk dream books the pig is a sign of plenty, a full larder and a well-kept house. It is also read as appetite — wanting more than is needed, or indulgence that has gone a step too far. A fat, healthy pig is linked to comfort and security, while a pig in mud stands for something you feel is messy or not quite clean. Being chased by a pig is read as a habit or desire that refuses to be ignored. Piglets carry the old image of small gains that grow with care.
