Exam in a dream: meaning

What dream books say

The unprepared exam is one of the most common dreams among adults, often decades after the last real test. It is read as fear of judgement, and of being found not good enough. Not being able to read the questions points to a situation whose rules seem unclear, while running out of time is taken as pressure to perform faster than feels possible. Arriving at the wrong room, or on the wrong day, is read as fear of missing an important step. Passing easily is a rarer, gentler version, taken as confidence quietly returning. It can help to ask who you feel tested by right now.
