The fox is the traditional symbol of cunning and quick wit. It is read as cleverness of your own — a sign to think one step ahead — or as someone who is not being straight with you. A fox entering a henhouse is linked to a threat to something you care for, and a fox watching you to the feeling of being sized up. A tame or friendly fox points to finding a smart way through a problem. In folk tales the fox also survives by adapting, so the dream may ask where flexibility would serve you better than force.
Has this come up in your dreams before? What was going on in your life then?
My Cosmic Code has a private dream journal. Write a dream down and the app picks out the symbols in it, shows what dream books say about them and, over time, which words recur across your entries. The journal is stored on your device only.
