Face in a dream: meaning

What dream books say

The face is read as identity and the self you show to the world. A face you cannot make out is traditionally someone, or something in you, not yet recognised. Seeing your own face changed — older, younger, unfamiliar — is linked to a shift in how you see yourself. A blank or faceless figure points to anonymity or to a role that hides the person. A beautiful face is read as acceptance, a frightening one as a fear given features. Washing your face carries the old image of wanting a clean slate in how others see you.

A question for you

Where in your waking life have you met something like this lately?

Keep your own dream journal

My Cosmic Code has a private dream journal. Write a dream down and the app picks out the symbols in it, shows what dream books say about them and, over time, which words recur across your entries. The journal is stored on your device only.
