A door is a threshold: an opportunity when it is open, a limit when it is locked. Tradition reads standing in front of one as a decision waiting to be made. A door that will not close is read as feeling exposed or unable to keep something out, while a door that opens onto an unexpected place points to change arriving from an unlikely side. Knocking with no answer is taken as reaching out without response. Many doors in a row are read as a choice between paths. It can help to notice which doors in your waking life you are holding shut, and which you are afraid to try.
