A bed is read as rest, intimacy and the private self. Its state — made, messy, strange — is traditionally taken as a picture of how safe you feel. A neatly made bed points to order and calm, while an unmade one suggests unfinished business or restlessness. Someone else in your bed is read as closeness, or as feeling your private space invaded, depending on the mood. A strange or hotel bed is taken as a temporary phase of life. Being unable to find your bed suggests a longing for rest that has no place yet.
Where in your waking life have you met something like this lately?
My Cosmic Code has a private dream journal. Write a dream down and the app picks out the symbols in it, shows what dream books say about them and, over time, which words recur across your entries. The journal is stored on your device only.
