Sleepwalking in a dream: meaning

What dream books say

Sleepwalking is read as going through the motions without awareness — acting out of habit, or being led somewhere you have not consciously chosen to go. Waking up in an unfamiliar place points to the sense that life has drifted while you were not paying attention. Watching someone else sleepwalk suggests they seem absent or not themselves. Being guided back to bed is read as a wish for someone to bring you home to yourself. It can help to notice where you have been on autopilot.

A question for you

Does the traditional reading fit your dream, or did it mean something else to you?
