Sex in a dream: meaning

What dream books say

Sex in a dream is read as desire and closeness, and just as often as a symbol: joining with a quality the other person stands for. Dream books rarely take it at face value. A partner you know is linked to intimacy and trust in that relationship, while a stranger or an unexpected person points to a trait you admire or want to integrate — confidence, tenderness, freedom. A dream of an ex is read as an unfinished chapter rather than a wish to go back. Feeling shame in the dream stands for inner judgement, and joy for acceptance of yourself.

A question for you

Does the traditional reading fit your dream, or did it mean something else to you?
