Searching for something is read as a need that has no name yet. What you look for — and whether you find it — is taken as a picture of that need. Searching for a person points to missing closeness or a quality they stand for, while searching for a lost object is read as fear of losing something of value in waking life. Going through room after room without knowing what you want is a very common version, traditionally read as restlessness or a goal that is still unclear. Finding the thing at last is taken as clarity arriving. The dream asks what feels missing right now.
Does the traditional reading fit your dream, or did it mean something else to you?
My Cosmic Code has a private dream journal. Write a dream down and the app picks out the symbols in it, shows what dream books say about them and, over time, which words recur across your entries. The journal is stored on your device only.
