Prison in a dream: meaning

What dream books say

Prison is read as restriction: a rule, a habit or a relationship that leaves no room to move. Tradition asks who holds the key. Being locked up for something you did not do points to feeling unfairly judged, while knowing the reason is read as guilt that has not been set down. Escaping is taken as a strong wish for freedom, and visiting someone inside as worry for a person who seems stuck. An open cell door that you do not walk through is a telling detail, read as limits that are partly self-made.

A question for you

Where in your waking life have you met something like this lately?
