Pain in a dream: meaning

What dream books say

Pain is read as a signal, not a sentence — something that asks for attention. Where it sits is traditionally taken as a hint at what is strained: the heart for feelings, the head for worries, the legs for a step you hesitate to take. Pain that suddenly stops is linked to relief, while pain no one else notices points to suffering you keep to yourself. Feeling someone else’s pain is read as empathy or shared burden. Dream books read the symbol only; a body that actually hurts is a matter for a doctor, not a dream book.

A question for you

Does the traditional reading fit your dream, or did it mean something else to you?
