Missed train in a dream: meaning

What dream books say

A missed train is traditionally read as regret over a passing opportunity or a fear of falling behind. Seeing the doors close just as you reach the platform is linked to the sense that timing is against you. Waiting at the wrong platform points to confusion about which way to go, and losing the ticket to doubt about whether you belong on that journey. Some dream books read the empty platform afterwards as a pause you did not choose but may need. It can also be a reminder that another train comes, and that one missed departure is not the whole road.

A question for you

Where in your waking life have you met something like this lately?
