Judge in a dream: meaning

What dream books say

A judge stands for judgement, fairness and the inner critic. Dream books read the figure as weighing a decision, or as the fear of being evaluated by others. Standing before a judge is read as feeling examined, perhaps over a choice you have not fully made peace with. A kind or fair judge is taken as balance and a clear conscience; a harsh one as self-criticism. Being the judge yourself is read as having to make a hard call, or judging others too quickly. A verdict in your favour is read as relief and acceptance. The dream may ask whose judgement weighs on you most, and whether it is fair.
