Hands in a dream: meaning

What dream books say

Hands stand for doing, making and reaching toward others. Tradition reads their state in a dream as your sense of being able to act; holding hands points to connection and support. Injured or tied hands are linked to feeling powerless or blocked in a task. Washing your hands is read as wanting to be free of guilt or responsibility; dirty hands stand for involvement in something uncomfortable. An open hand offered to you is read as help available, while a clenched fist points to anger. It can help to notice what your hands were doing — and what they could not do.

A question for you

Has this come up in your dreams before? What was going on in your life then?
