Dreaming of God is read across many traditions as meeting the highest values you hold — meaning, conscience, a sense of order. How the presence feels, near or distant, kind or stern, is taken as how that relationship feels now. Hearing a voice is linked to an inner sense of guidance, while feeling abandoned points to doubt or loneliness. Speaking with God is read as searching for answers or forgiveness. Each faith gives the image its own shape, and dream books treat it with respect. It can help to notice what question you carried into the dream.

My Cosmic Code has a private dream journal. Write a dream down and the app picks out the symbols in it, shows what dream books say about them and, over time, which words recur across your entries. The journal is stored on your device only.
