Folk dream books, perhaps surprisingly, have often read faeces as abundance and fertility, as with manure on a field. Psychologically it is read as letting go of waste — what is no longer needed. Stepping in it is traditionally linked to unexpected gain or an awkward situation, depending on the book. Being covered in it points to shame or a feeling of being dirtied by something. Cleaning it up is read as dealing with a mess you would rather avoid.
Where in your waking life have you met something like this lately?
My Cosmic Code has a private dream journal. Write a dream down and the app picks out the symbols in it, shows what dream books say about them and, over time, which words recur across your entries. The journal is stored on your device only.
