Dragon in a dream: meaning

What dream books say

The dragon guards something. Tradition reads it as a great fear standing in front of a treasure, or as a huge force of your own that has not been tamed yet. Fighting a dragon is the classic hero’s image: facing what you most dread to reach what you most want. A dragon breathing fire points to anger or passion that feels too large to contain. Riding or befriending a dragon is read as making peace with your own power. In East Asian tradition the dragon is a lucky, wise and protective creature; dream books ask what the dragon was guarding.
