Dinosaurs stand for the past — old ways, outdated beliefs or big forces from long ago that still loom over the present. Dream books read a living dinosaur as something that should be extinct but is still walking around: an old fear, an old conflict, an old rule. Being chased by one is taken as running from a problem that feels too large and too ancient to fight. A gentle dinosaur, or a skeleton in a museum, is read as looking calmly at history you have already outgrown. Some readings link it to feeling old-fashioned yourself, out of step with a world that has moved on. Ask what in your life is bigger than it needs to be because it has never been retired.
Where in your waking life have you met something like this lately?
My Cosmic Code has a private dream journal. Write a dream down and the app picks out the symbols in it, shows what dream books say about them and, over time, which words recur across your entries. The journal is stored on your device only.
