A cave is read as a way inward — the hidden room of the self, where old memories are kept. Going in is traditionally a search for something buried. Being lost or trapped in a cave is linked to fear of the unknown or to feeling closed in by a situation. Finding light or treasure inside points to insight that comes from looking deeply; a cave as shelter is read as a need for retreat and rest. Basements, cellars and tunnels carry a similar meaning of what lies beneath the surface. It can help to ask what you might be ready to look at more closely.
Where in your waking life have you met something like this lately?
My Cosmic Code has a private dream journal. Write a dream down and the app picks out the symbols in it, shows what dream books say about them and, over time, which words recur across your entries. The journal is stored on your device only.
