Blindness in a dream: meaning

What dream books say

Losing your sight in a dream is traditionally read as not seeing something clearly in waking life — a truth avoided, or a path you cannot yet make out. Sudden blindness points to shock or confusion after news or a change, while slowly losing sight suggests something you have been gradually choosing not to notice. Being led by someone while blind is read as trust, or as dependence on another’s judgement. Regaining sight is taken as clarity arriving. It speaks of insight, not of the eyes.
