Black is read as the unknown, the hidden and what has not been looked at yet. Tradition ties it to grief, but also to depth, rest and elegance. A black animal — a cat, a dog, a bird — is traditionally read as an instinct or fear stepping out of the shadows, not as bad luck. Black clothes point to mourning, seriousness or a wish to go unnoticed. A black sky or room suggests a time of not knowing, and a black object glowing within it a hidden strength.
Has this come up in your dreams before? What was going on in your life then?
My Cosmic Code has a private dream journal. Write a dream down and the app picks out the symbols in it, shows what dream books say about them and, over time, which words recur across your entries. The journal is stored on your device only.
